PBC ran in five tries as they sauntered past Castletroy College at the Mardyke. They took the lead inside five minutes when full-back Louis Bruce got on the end of out-half James Broderick's kick to touch down, with Broderick converting.

Pres kept applying the pressure and centre Sam O'Donovan crossed over on 18 minutes, Broderick once more adding the extras.

A Cathal Crowe penalty got Castletroy off the mark to leave it 14-3 at half-time, but Pres continued to dominate in the second half.

Replacement wing Sean French scored two fine tries to kill off the game on 44 minutes and 52 minutes, with Broderick converting the latter.

In the 58th minute, another substitute, Billy Scannell made it 31-3 and French converted.

There was sufficient injury-time for Castletroy to get a consolation try through Darragh Cullimore, with David Moloney converting.
