O'Mahony on . . .

"It was an awful thing to happen just before the World Cup -- he was in unbelievable shape -- but he is so professional, he will be back. We have had a tough time of it this year, with Ian Dowling and Barry Murphy forced to retire and then with Jerry (Flannery) and David. Injuries are part of the game but as a professional you can't dwell on them."
"The Heineken Cup is where you want to be at, but we responded very well to that disappointment with the Magners League win. There was a lot of emotion involved with Paul Darbyshire's illness and we channelled it well."
MUNSTER'S TWO BASES
"I know it's unusual but I don't think it's an issue really. Munster haven't done too badly over the last 10 years with two bases. I have no problem with it, we share the driving on a rota basis and it's not much more than an hour. You have the bit of craic in the car as well."
"Anthony Foley is someone I have been watching since I was a kid and he's a class act. Brian Hickey has been a big influence, he's technically brilliant on things like the line-out, and Lawrie Fisher too. You ask anyone in the squad about Lawrie and they'll tell you about the detail he brought to areas like the breakdown, which was amazing."
