Cornish Pirates are unbeaten in the section, but Jersey have now moved ahead of Ulster after their bonus-point success.

Josh Atkinson ran clean through to give the visitors an early lead before O'Connor kicked a penalty. Full-back David McIlwaine's try put Ulster a 12-3 ahead.

But the home team struck back, firstly with a penalty, and then Tongan Elvis Talone showed his pace to touch down and reduce the arrears to 12-11 by half-time.

Another run by Talone led to a Joe Buckle try, but Ulster retorted when James McKinney converted his own try. O'Connor levelled before Grant Pointer touched down and O'Connor converted to make it 26-19.

O'Connor later kicked two more penalties and after 10 minutes of injury-time, Jersey were awarded a penalty try to grab the bonus.
