NEW Munster signing CJ Stander looks set to make his debut against Scarlets this weekend.
Stander joined up with Rob Penney's squad after his Currie Cup campaign with the Blue Bulls ended at the end of last month.
And after two weeks settling in to his new surroundings, the dynamic 22-year-old is likely to be thrown into the starting line-up after Tommy O'Donnell picked up an ankle injury against Leinster in the 'A' inter-provincial clash.
"He is an outstanding athlete who can play all three positions really well in the back-row and he offers us a bit of depth there," said Penney.
O'Donnell's injury added to Munster's woes as fellow back-rows Sean Dougall (knee) and Barry O'Mahony (groin) continue to recover, while James Coughlan and Niall Ronan are believed to be nearing a return to full training.
