Keith Earls is facing at least four weeks on the sidelines for the tip tackle on Frazer Brown which earned him a red card in Saturday's 38-17 victory over the Glasgow Warriors.

The Munster centre is charged with breaching rule 10.4 (j) regarding lifting a player from the ground and either dropping or driving that player's head and/or upper body into the ground while the player's feet are off the ground.

A lower end offence carries a sanction of a four-week ban with the highest the top end action ranging from 12 to 52 weeks.

Mike Hamlin (England), Chairman, Roddy Dunlop QC (Scotland) and Andrea Caranci (Italy) have been appointed as the independent Disciplinary Committee for the hearing which will take place in London tomorrow.
