With just two weeks to go before they face Munster at Thomond Park in the Champions Cup, Burns inspired his side with five penalties, a conversion and a drop-goal, as Owen Williams' try wrapped up the win.

And Leicester are back in action tonight as they take on Bristol at Ashton Gate, a side that have yet to win a Premiership game this season since their promotion.

Meanwhile in the French Top 14, Racing 92 were happy to edge a 29-24 victory over Grenoble.

An early try from Yannick Nyanga and James Hart's conversion got Racing up and running, although following a reply from Bernard Jackman's men, Dimitri Szarzewski needed to dot down on the half-hour mark again for the home side.

Racing did briefly trail early in the second half after Laurent Bouchet crossed for Grenoble, but Franco van der Merwe and Henry Chavancy tries meant that Racing held on for a hard-fought victory.

Champions Racing currently sit in seventh spot and they face a tough away game with high flying La Rochelle tomorrow evening.

And Glasgow Warriors return to Pro12 action tonight when they welcome Ospreys to Scotstoun, a week out from Munster's Pro12 trip to the same venue.
