I was born in Ard na Crusha in Clare, and I started playing rugby when I was seven with Shannon. I lost in the final of both Junior and Senior Cups with Ard Scoil Rís.

I was initially an out-half but switched to the back three after Junior Cup. I have played all of the Munster underage grades and played three pre-season matches with the seniors, and U-19s and U-20s with Ireland. I have lined out for Munster A eight times in the B&I Cup and I made my Pro12 debut this season, starting away to Ospreys where I was lucky enough to also score my first try.

Favourite Munster game?

Munster v Northampton in 2011 when ROG got the winning drop-goal in the last play of the game.

Most memorable game I have played in?

I would have said getting my first run out with the seniors against Gloucester when I was just 18 - although the result wasn't the best it was still a great experience to play - but since then I'll have to say making my Pro12 debut, starting against Ospreys.

Favourite ground?

Although it might anger my own club, when I was in school I always loved playing cup games in Garryowen just because it's an open pitch and there always seems to be a great atmosphere and buzz there.
