I grew up just outside Cashel. I began playing rugby with Cashel RFC when I was about six years old and have played ever since. I attended secondary school in nearby Rockwell College, where I played a year of junior cup and three years of senior cup, winning a senior cup title earlier this in March. Playing rugby in Rockwell has helped me progress into provincial and national squads like Munster Schools, Irish Schools, Munster U-19 and Irish U-19.
Favourite Munster game:
Munster versus the All Blacks in Thomond Park or the Heineken Cup Final in 2006 in the Millennium Stadium. The big game against New Zealand was one of the best atmospheres I can remember, but winning that first Heineken Cup against Biarritz after two defeats in the final before was pretty special.
Most memorable game I have played in:
Munster Schools Senior Cup Final v Ardscoil Rís in Thomond Park in March this year. After losing the 2013 final and not even getting that far last year, it was a huge victory for everyone at Rockwell.
Thomond Park when the stand is full, no better feeling! I've been there for some memorable games and it's hard to beat it on those occasions.
