The future is bright: Kelvin Brown (first year sub-academy)

I was born and bred in Limerick. At the age of five I started playing rugby in Shannon RFC. I went to primary school in Scoil Ide in Corbally and to Ardscoil Ris for secondary school.
I started out playing in the front row before finding my preferred position in the back row. While I played schools rugby with Ardscoil I am now back playing with Shannon RFC and I have been capped at Munster U-18, U-19 and U-20 level. This year, I made my Munster A debut and also made the Ireland U-19 sevens team. I joined the Munster sub-academy in 2015.
Favourite Munster game: The Heineken Cup final in May 2008 versus Toulouse in Cardiff. I only just remember small bits of the first win in 2006 but I'll never forget Denis Leamy's try that day and the celebrations afterwards.
Most memorable game I have played in: The 2015 Munster Junior Cup final for Shannon against Clonmel. In the end we won it fairly well but it was special for the club to win a first junior cup in 19 years.
Favourite ground: Growing up watching great Shannon and Munster teams play in Thomond Park, I always wanted to run out that tunnel myself some day. Club games at Coonagh and places like Tom Clifford Park and Dooradoyle have a really enjoyable atmosphere too but Thomond Park is in a different league.
