I was born in Clonmel and played rugby with Clonmel RFC until I was 13. I then went to secondary school in Rockwell College and was part of the 2011 and 2012 Schools Senior Cup winning side.

I joined the Munster Rugby sub academy in 2013 and I'm in my 3rd year of the academy programme.

After making my Pro12 debut at the start of this season I recently signed a two-year senior contract which will commence at the start of the 2016-17 season.

Favourite Munster game: 2004 European Cup semi-final vs Wasps. It was the first European game I had attended and I can still remember walking up through the stands and getting the first sight of the pitch.

Most memorable game I have played in: Against Glasgow Warriors in September. It was my second Pro12 start but my first time running out in Thomond Park. I had set a goal during pre-season of starting for Munster in a game in Thomond Park so to achieve that goal was a special day for me and my family.

Favourite ground: Thomond Park. The atmosphere and history is unrivalled worldwide and it always means so much to me to get the opportunity to play there.
