I loved all sports growing up, especially rugby and tennis, and I played in secondary school with St Munchin's College in Limerick, following in the footsteps of all my uncles.

I played three years of both Junior Cup and Senior Cup rugby at St Munchin's and then decided to join Young Munster when I finished secondary school.

Favourite Munster game: The one that sticks in my mind the most is Munster versus New Zealand in Thomond Park in 2008. I was seated right in line with the half-way line and had an unreal view on the night. It was an incredible match to be at, with an amazing atmosphere.

Most memorable game I have played in: I played with the Munster U-19s against Australia Schools in Thomond Park and it was a great experience.

Favourite ground: I played against Leicester and Clermont on the Leicester Academy training base and that was the best pitch I've ever played on, but in saying that it's hard to beat Thomond Park.
