While Liverpool and Manchester United played out a drab 0-0 draw in Anfield on Sky Sports One last night, rugby fans were treated to a fitting tribute to Anthony Foley over on Sky Sports 5.
The channel aired the 2006 Heineken Cup final between Munster and Biarritz. Anthony Foley was captain on the day, and played a massive role in the province's first European triumph.
It was a day of glory for Munster in Cardiff, and the decision to show the match as a tribute to Foley sparked an emotional response on Twitter.
Here is the best of the reaction:
Standing ovation as Foley goes off with 10 minutes to go. Barnes: "Foleyhas been heroic again!"— Michael McCarthy (@McCarthyMick) 17 October 2016
