Munster Rugby recently held a blitz day for U-13 girls at Limerick Institute of Technology.

Teams from St Mary's, Shannon, Fethard, Abbeyfeale and Listowel came together to take part in the event coordinated by Munster Youth Committee chairman Kieran Reilly.

This was the first outing for the girls post-Christmas due to the recent adverse weather conditions and they were delighted to be back out on the pitch.

Shannon RFC were the new team of the day following the recent expansion of their U-13 section.

All teams played four games each and are looking forward to taking part in the next event.
