I'm from Carrignavar in Co Cork. I started playing rugby at Old Christians at U-10s before going to Christian Brothers College in Cork.

Then after school I started playing with Cork Constitution. After representing Munster at underage level I went on to play for Ireland U-19s and U-20s, and have made seven appearances for Munster A in the British and Irish Cup.

I made my first senior squad appearance in the pre-season game against Grenoble in Thomond Park.

Favourite Munster game?

The 2006 Heineken Cup final between Munster and Biarritz at the Millennium Stadium for the occasion that it was, and of course for winning on the day!

Most memorable match?

From my school days the Senior Cup semi-final against Crescent Comprehensive in 2013, while at Ireland U-20s level, the game against New Zealand at the Junior World Championship in 2014 in New Zealand.

Favourite ground?

In Ireland, Thomond Park, as it's where I played underage Munster games, and further afield, Eden Park where I played in the Junior World Championships 3rd/4th place play-off.
