Munster A will look to go top of Pool 3 in the B&I Cup on Sunday when they clash with Yorkshire Carnegie at Lockwood Park (3.0).
Mick O'Driscoll's men are just one point behind their English Championship rivals in the standings as they aim for their fourth win of the campaign in five games.
Yorkshire are also on three wins, with their only defeat coming in Kinsale when they were edged out 14-9 by Munster - Billy Holland and Cathal Sheridan both crossed for tries on that occasion.
But Munster's opening day 27-25 defeat at London Scottish means they cannot afford any more slip-ups in the pool, if they want to finish top. London Scottish are third, five points behind Munster, with Ospreys Premiership bottom with just two points from their four games.
Munster were in fine form when they hammered the Welshmen 28-8 at Rosbrien on December 8; then a double from Ronan O'Mahony as well as tries from Shane Buckley, Sean Doyle, Kevin O'Byrne and Jordan Coghlan helped Munster to a 46-26 win in Wales last time out.
Yorkshire Carnegie are third, just one point behind second-placed Doncaster, in the English Championship where they have won their last four games in a row, with victories over London Scottish (two), Rotherham Titans and Ealing Trailfinders.
