Casey Laulala was on the mark twice for Racing 92 as they took a third win of the season - a fine 41-30 win over Toulon.

Argentina wing Juan Imhoff was the hat-trick hero for the Parisians, but former Munster centre Laulala will be thrilled with his brace of scores as he prepares to welcome his old team-mates to Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir on October 16.

The win has Racing up to third, ahead of tomorrow's trip to Castres.

Leicester Tigers kept pace with the English Premiership leaders last weekend, but they were made to sweat for their victory at Kingston Park, where they eventually ran out 14-13 winners.

Newcastle Falcons could have won at the death but a drop-goal attempt sailed wide to give Tigers the victory.

The Falcons had led 10-0 early on, but a try from Mike Fitzgerald and three Freddy Burns penalties proved enough for the visitors.

Tigers are already five points behind the three sides at the top of the table, but against leaders Bath on Sunday they will hope to cut that gap.

Glasgow Warriors' perfect start to the Pro12 came to a shuddering halt in Cardiff last weekend as the Blues took a 23-19 win from the clash of two unbeaten teams.

Two tries gave Blues a solid advantage at the break, but despite bringing their try tally to 14 from three games, a losing bonus point was the only solace for Gregor Townsend's boys, who host Ulster at Scotstoun tonight.
