Munster captain Peter O'Mahony has praised Ian Keatley for the dedication he has shown in taking over from Ronan O'Gara at out-half, WRITES JOHN FALLON .
O'Mahony said that Keatley has worked extremely hard to become the guiding light for Munster.
"He's our general now and he's coming into that role – he's been very good for us since the season started," said the flanker.
"Obviously with having ROG there last year I'd love to think that Ian has learned a huge amount off him, but I think he's putting his stamp on it now.
"And the work he's done on his goal-kicking... you wouldn't see the like of it anywhere."
O'Mahony said that Keatley's kicking display against Gloucester was "awesome" and a due reward for all the hard work he has put in.
"He's the ultimate professional and he is flat out practising," added the Munster skipper.
