Shannon coach Marcus Horan says his side need to build on their recent good form when they take on Dolphin in their Ulster Bank League Division 1B Munster derby at Coonagh tomorrow (2.0).

Munster legend Horan, who won 67 Irish caps, took the reins at the start of the season. Shannon began with four defeats, but with wins over UL Bohs, Old Wesley and Belfast Harlequins, the nine-time champions are full of confidence.

"We had a two-week break, but that probably came at the wrong time for us. We were on a roll and we have to kick it off again now," said the former prop.

"We are still only on three wins. Dolphin will come to Limerick with no fear. There is an element of their backs being against the wall too."

In Division 1A Garryowen host UCD at Dooradoyle, Cork Con travel to take on Old Belvedere at Anglesea Road, and Young Munster make the journey to Terenure College. Elsewhere in 1B, UL Bohs are away to Ballymena.

In 2A, Thomond host Naas, Cashel face Banbridge, UCC are on the road against Corinthians and Nenagh Ormond play Skerries.

In 2B, Highfield face-off against Rainey OB, and Sundays Well clash with Armagh. In 2C it's Bruff against Sligo, Old Crescent play Dundalk, Kanturk face Boyne and Midleton are against Navan.
