An overpowering display up front and out wide sent Rockwell packing and put Glenstal into penultimate stage.

Tries in each half by Ronan Quinn and Andrew Hogan, the latter an intercept effort which summed up Rockwell's day at Clanwilliam, along with two successful penalties and a conversion by Ben Healy were more than enough for Glenstal.

It was a match in which nothing went right for Rockwell as they gave away too many penalties and made too many errors.

They suffered an early blow when captain Kevin Kelly had to go off injured after just 20 minutes, while No 8 Ciaran Ryan was stretchered off late in the game.
