Thomond Park has been turned into a shrine following his untimely and sudden passing at the weekend and there were emotional scenes outside Racing 92’s Stade Yves-du-Manoir Stade stadium last Sunday when the bad news filtered through to the travelling Munster fans.

Both Munster and Racing fans united in grief and sang a poignant rendition of the Fields of Athenry as they came to terms with Foley’s death.

Munster fan Cathal Reynolds has penned a touching tribute song to Foley called 'Heroes get remembered but legends never die’.

“I wrote this song to express how everyone is feeling. Hopefully it will help people get past a difficult situation,” said Cathal.
