The Ireland Women's squad to play England in a historic first autumn international has been named and it includes four Munster players from this year's victorious interprovincial side.

There are new faces on the squad, with ten players uncapped at this level including Munster's Elaine Anthony (second-row), Zoe Grattage (hooker) and Fiona Reidy (prop).

Munster captain Niamh Briggs (full-back) has also been named as Ireland prepare for the defence of their Six Nations title.

Ireland take on their English counterparts at the Twickenham Stoop tomorrow week with a 3.0 kick-off.

Speaking ahead of the game, Ireland Women's coach Tom Tierney said: "It's the first time we have played an autumn international which is another step in the development in women's rugby. We have an opportunity to have a look at some new players and combinations building towards the Six Nations."
