Munster coach Anthony Foley is sweating on the fitness of several players as he looks for a boost in Wales on Sunday before heading into the crucial Champions Cup games against Leicester Tigers.

Foley wants his men to bounce back from the 18-12 loss at home to Connacht at the weekend when they take on Dragons at Rodney Parade on Sunday.

But he could be without a number of key players with Francis Saili doubtful with a calf injury, BJ Botha suffering from concussion and Donnacha Ryan doubtful with a rib injury.

Conor Murray, who missed the loss to Connacht, is still doubtful with a foot injury although he did some running today (WED), while full-back Andrew Conway is recovering from a bout of illness.

“I haven’t picked a team yet so we’ll wait and see. There is a player welfare matter put in as well, managing some of these guys games, so we need to do that too,” said Foley after training in Limerick this (WED) afternoon.

He hopes that hooker Mike Sherry and out-half Tyler Bleyendaal will be available for Sunday after coming through training at University of Limerick.
