Munster Rugby recently held a Rugby Blitz for primary school pupils at Killarney RFC's new grounds in Aghadoe.

Over 100 students from Guitane, Fossa, Faha, Lissigiveen and The Monastery took part in the one-day event.

Coordinated by Killarney's Community Rugby Officer Denis Corridan, the fifth and sixth class pupils took part in a series of contact skills and tackle techniques.

They completed the day with rugby games giving them the opportunity to put their new skills into practice.

Should your club or school wish to take part in a similar rugby blitz in your area, please email info@munsterrugby.ie for more details of forthcoming events.
