CIT set to host strength and speed workshop

Munster Rugby will host a Speed and Strength Workshop on Tuesday, February 9 at Cork Institute of Technology at 7pm.

The workshop will be hosted by Munster Rugby's head of age grade strength and conditioning, Feargal O'Callaghan.

All stage 2, 3 and 4 coaches are invited to attend with the main focus on speed, agility and core strength as developed both in the gym and on the pitch.

Club coaches get ref accreditation

Munster Rugby recently held an Affiliated Referee Course at Tralee RFC.

A total of 25 coaches from the Kerry clubs attended the course hosted by international referee Peter Fitzgibbon.

As affiliated referees, participants are now accredited to referee their own clubs' games.
