Longwell hails rampant Ravens after Welsh stroll

Ulster Ravens boss Gary Longwell hailed his side following the bonus-point win over Swansea which kick-started their British & Irish Cup campaign in style.

Jonny Shiels, Tom Anderson, Niall Brady and Conor Gaston all crossed for tries to seal a crucial Pool C win against the high-flying Welsh Premiership outfit at St Helen's. But, despite just one warm-up match, the Ravens proved too strong for competition debutants Swansea after racing into a 22-0 interval lead. Academy manager Longwell said: "I'm delighted with the performance and the result."
