De La Salle Palmerston FC are delighted to announce with immediate effect, the appointment of Phil Werahiko as director of rugby.

  • Go To

Phil has previously played and worked as head coach for the club, guiding them into Division 1 of the AIL.

After his successful period at the club, his career then took him to further successes at Clontarf and English Championship side Rotherham, before returning to Dublin to coach Old Belvedere, where he won the AIL title in 2011.

In recent years he has taken up a role at Belvedere College, where he oversees all aspects of rugby and this season guided them to the Leinster Schools Senior Cup Final.

DLSP are delighted that someone with Phil's vast experience has given such a vote of confidence to the club by accepting this role and everyone at DLSP are confident that his appointment sends out a clear message about our intentions for the 2015-16 season.

Welcome home Phil!
