Timmins 'hugely motivated' to shine

Leinster 'A' will be desperate to win back their British and Irish Cup title this season and they begin their quest to do so at Rotherham Titans this afternoon (2.0).
Leinster were beaten by Connacht Eagles last week but they have included plenty of players with Pro12 experience to take on Rotherham, who are currently in fifth on the Championship table.
The experienced Darragh Fanning and Mick McGrath start on either wing with the highly-rated Ireland U-20 star Ross Byrne pulling the strings from out-half.
Peadar Timmins captains the side from the back-row and he is hoping that the players' recent experience with the senior team will count in their favour today.
"Obviously with the Irish lads away there was more of an opportunity to train with the senior team," he said.
"I think I can speak for all the academy lads, that we've loved the step up and training with the senior lads as they prepared for the Guinness Pro12.
"But it has also benefited us as we look towards the B&I Cup. We know that if we perform well here that this is a stepping stone as well so there is huge motivation to go out and put in a performance."
Former Munster player Sean Scanlon starts at full-back for a Rotherham side who Leinster knocked out of the competition the last season.
Leinster have shown their pedigree by winning this tournament twice in the past and although they face a tough opening test, they should have enough quality to get off to a winning start.
