Leinster have confirmed that seven academy graduates have received professional contracts with the province.
Carlow brothers Bryan and Ed Byrne join back-row pair Dan Leavy and Josh van der Flier, Gavin Thornbury, out-half Cathal Marsh and Tadhg Beirne in making the step up to the professional ranks.
Jordan Coghlan, the eighth graduate, has already joined Munster on a professional deal.
The province have also announced six academy recruits - and they all featured for Ireland at last month's U-20 World Cup.
Joey Carbery, Oisin Heffernan, Jeremy Loughman, Sean McNulty, Josh Murphy and David O'Connor will all enter year one of the academy, and manager Girvan Dempsey said that it is a significant boost to the province.
"That each player was a part of the Ireland U-20 set up during the World Rugby Championship shows that they are among the most promising young players in Ireland," he said.
"I'd like to congratulate the players leaving the academy on securing professional contracts.
"I'm sure that each of them will relish being a part of the senior squad and will be eager to impress and play their part this season."
