Hosted in Suttonians RFC, the last game before the end of the season was a tournament called the Larry O'Reilly Cup. It was a great contest between St Fintan's, Mount Temple and St Pat's Navan.

The teams involved were all second year school teams and was a round-robin tournament. It was a great day for running rugby and all teams really tried to move the ball around.

Mount Temple went against St Fintan's in the first game which was tightly contested but Mount Temple just edged it. The second game was Mount Temple against St Pat's which St Pats won and they also won against St Fintan's.

The second round of fixtures went the same way which meant St Pat's for the first time won all their games and were crowned winners of the Larry O'Reilly Cup.

A massive thank you must go to all the referees and coaches for their help on the day. Also to Suttonians Rugby Club for allowing the use of their facilities for the night. Of course the day couldn't have happened without the coaching work done by Glenn Predy of Leinster Rugby throughout.

If any other schools in the Sutton area would like to participate in similar programmes, please contact Glenn Predy on 0863994839 or email on SuttoniansCCRO@leinsterrugby.ie.
