The excellent meal was served up by Robert Bergin and his staff while the music was performed by DIVA.

Following the meal there were short speeches by president Alan Finney, Leinster Branch referee Gary Glennon as well as from Leinster Branch president Robert McDermott.

Gary also presented his first Pro12 referee jersey, Irish squad jersey and a touch judge flag from his first Towns Cup final to the club.

Robert presented a signed Leinster jersey from their training day at the club in August.

After the meal some danced the night away while others caught up with old acquaintances and many an old match was replayed a few times.

It was great to see everyone who turned up. Plans are already underway for next year's dinner.

Everyone is now looking forward to our next event, the Christmas Jumper Party. More details to follow about this event so keep an eye on the site and on social media.

Thanks again to everyone who made the night such a success and sincerest congratulations to Robert Bergin, Johnny Jones, Patrick Larkin and Stephen Potterton who were presented with life membership of Edenderry RFC.
