Cup fever will kick off after Monday's draw

The Bank of Ireland Leinster Schools Cup draws take place next Monday, December 7 at 6.30pm in the House of Lords, 2 College Green.

Live streaming of the draw will take place on www.bankofireland.com/rugby at 6.30pm sharp.

The Bank of Ireland Senior and Junior Cups will see the six traditional powerhouses take on the eight league play-off schools and two qualifiers from both the Bank of Ireland Vinnie Murray and Fr Godfrey Cups.

At Senior Cup level, Belvedere College, Blackrock College, Terenure College, Clongowes Wood College, St Michael's College and St Mary's College will be joined by Newbridge College, Kilkenny College, St Andrew's College, CBC Monkstown, St Gerard's School, Gonzaga College, The King's Hospital School and 2015 Senior Cup champions Cistercian College Roscrea who have all emerged from the league campaign to earn a place in the draw.

In the Bank of Ireland Vinnie Murray Cup, the following teams will battle it out in round one; Wesley College, Presentation College Bray, Castleknock College, Catholic University School, Wilson's Hospital School, Skerries Community College, De La Salle College Churchtown, St Fintan's College Sutton, The High School, Templeogue College, St Conleth's College, Coláiste Bhríde, St Mary's CBS Enniscorthy.

Either Maynooth Post Primary School or Salesian College Celbridge will take up the last slot with that match taking place this week.

At Junior Cup level, St Gerard's School, Kilkenny College, Castleknock College, CBC Monkstown, Presentation College Bray, Cistercian College Roscrea, Gonzaga College, Newbridge College have all qualified for the league play-offs and thus are in the draw for the Junior Cup.

In the Bank of Ireland Father Godfrey Cup, the draw will include; The King's Hospital School, Wesley College, Catholic University School, The High School, St Andrew's College, Newpark Comprehensive School, Skerries Community College, De La Salle Churchtown, St Patrick's Classical School, St Fintan's College, Templeogue College, Dundalk Grammar School and CBS Naas.

The winner of Gorey Community School or St. Columba's College will also make their way into the draw with that match taking place today.

Finally, Scoil Chonglais Baltinglass or St Mary's CBS Enniscorthy will take the remaining slot but that match will not be taking place until after the draw on Tuesday, December 8.

The final of the Bank of Ireland Leinster Schools Senior Cup is down for Sunday, March 13 in the RDS with the Bank of Ireland Leinster Schools Junior Cup final to follow three days later on Wednesday, March 16 in Donnybrook.
