Over the past ten years in what was previously a rugby outpost in south-west Dublin, Clondalkin RFC has gone from strength to strength and is now one of the fastest-growing clubs in the country.

The club fields four senior men's teams, women's and girls' teams, in addition to an extensive youth and mini rugby section. In just its second season in Leinster League Division 1A, the men's senior 1st XV recently finished in fourth position and made it to the last four of the Bank of Ireland Provincial Towns Cup. The huge strides that this club has made are testament to the hard work of the players, coaches, committee members and volunteers whose efforts were recently recognised when the club was awarded the title of Leinster Club of the Year for the 2013/14 season, which was the 40th anniversary of Clondalkin's founding.

As a young and growing club, Clondalkin are always on the look-out for new members and welcome all those interested in getting involved, with or without rugby experience.
