Leinster have confirmed the signing of 24-year-old scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park from New Zealand Super Rugby side the Hurricanes.
Although he has played for the Maori All Blacks, he can be classed as a potentially Irish qualified player.
Leinster coach Leo Cullen pointedly omitted Eoin Reddan from his comments welcoming the new player; however, it is believed the Limerick man will stay for one more year. The province have also confirmed that Hayden Triggs has extended his contract for next season.
Meanwhile, Stuart McCloskey was last night named Ulster's Bank of Ireland Player of the Year.
