Leinster players in relaxed form ahead of Toulon showdown

Published 04/04/2014 | 17:25

Leinster fans may be a little nervous ahead of Sunday’s Heineken Cup clash with Toulon, but the players at least appear relaxed.

Matt O’Connor’s side will have to show all their resolve if they are to see off the challenge of a star-studded Toulon who will be defending their crown in front of a packed home crowd.

The mouth watering clash between the three-times champions and the mega-rich French outfit, who have never lost at home in the Heineken Cup could well be the standout fixture of the weekend.

The Leinster squad and management departed Dublin today and if Jamie Heaslip’s pictures are anything to go by, the players are relaxed ahead of the game.

Should Leinster overcome Toulon and Munster also get the better of French opposition in the form of Toulouse, the two inter-provincial rivals will meet at the penultimate stage of the competition.
