LEINSTER and Munster will do battle at the Aviva Stadium on the weekend of October 5 in next season's Pro12 League.

The duo have met at the venue for the last two seasons and will do so again ahead of the first weekend of Heineken Cup pool games a week later.

Leinster will open their campaign in Llanelli against the Scarlets on the weekend of August 31, while Munster travel to Murrayfield to face Edinburgh.

Connacht will be at home to Cardiff Blues, who yesterday confirmed that former All Black Xavier Rush is to take over as their defence coach. Ulster will be at home to Glasgow.
