Leader from the front for Roscrea

Roscrea held on in a dramatic finish at North Kildare yesterday to advance to a quarter-final clash with St Mary's.

Monkstown out-half Aaron Sheehan missed a tricky penalty six minutes into injury time that would have levelled matters.

Try-scorer Kevin O'Connell and kicker Tadhg Leader were the heroes for the victors. Sam Hanley's try kept Monkstown within touching distance.
