Late Con double sinks Dolphin

The league may be all but decided but that didn't stop Dolphin and Cork Con playing out a wonderful tussle at Musgrave Park.

Simply, this was to be a game about bragging rights and they eventually went the way of the visitors after seven minutes of injury-time on the clock.

Tries from Chris Roe and Miah Cronin, converted by Barry Keeshan, sent the home side in 17–3 up at the break.

Dave O'Callaghan then burst his way in for Dolphin's third try but Con responded with a try on 56 minutes from Brian Hayes and two late touchdowns (77 and 87 mins) from sub Brian Cagney and prop John Ryan, converted by Johnny Holland, to win.
