Kiwi Thomson makes jersey appeal to thieves

WORLD Cup-winning All Blacks flanker Adam Thomson has appealed to thieves who burgled his apartment to return his Test jerseys. Thomson, on the bench for the World Cup final victory over France, came home to his Dunedin apartment on Sunday to find it had been burgled.

A stereo system, a PlayStation console, sunglasses, shoes, clothes and some foreign currency were also taken, but Thomson (above) feels much worse about the theft of suitcases containing his All Blacks gear. "Keep what you must, but for God's sake return the Test jerseys," appealed Thomson to the burglars. "They mean nothing to you."

Don't know about that... a World Cup All Blacks jersey could fetch a handy few bob.
