Ulster wing Jacob Stockdale will win his first Irish cap in New Jersey this Saturday as Joe Schmidt looks to blood young players on the summer tour to America and Japan.

Ireland take on the US Eagles in the Red Bull Arena at 9pm Irish time, and Schmidt has named an interesting side that mixes youth and experience.

Stockdale forms a back three alongside Tiernan O'Halloran at fullback and Keith Earls on the opposite wing, while Garry Ringrose will partner Luke Marshall in midfield.

Joey Carbery gets the bod at ten, while Kieran Marmion will line out at scrum-half. Schmidt is able to call on the experienced Cian Healy at loosehead prop, with Niall Scannell and John Ryan completing the front row.

Quinn Roux and Devin Toner have been selected at lock while captain Rhys Ruddock is part of an all-Leinster back row with provincial colleagues Josh van der Flier and Jack Conan.

There are four uncapped players on the bench, with hooker Dave Heffernan, tighthead prop Andrew Porter, second row James Ryan and centre Rory Scannell in line to make their Ireland debuts along with Stockdale.
