On St Patrick's Day you will see the green of Ireland and following Ireland's sensational victory over the All Blacks, maybe it's time to go green once again.

Rory Best certainly thinks so.

The Ireland captain praised the fantastic Irish support in Windy City after Joe Schmidt's men recorded a memorable 40-29 victory over New Zealand.

"You can see what it means to our boys to win that. We knew we had to go out and attack them. If you give them ball and stand off them they are an unbelievable dangerous outfit," said Best after the win.

"I couldn't be prouder of the work we put in over the last...it hasn't just been the last couple of weeks. It have been a long time coming. It's been a long time, it's history made and we are absolutely ecstatic with a marvelous performance bu us.

"I have to say a massive thanks to the supporters. The atmosphere here..it felt like a home game for us. They are going to have to dye the river green for this one."
