TOMAS O'Leary's back injury has ruled him out of Munster's final pre-season game against London Irish at Thomond Park this evening (7.0), but he is expected to be available for next week's Pro12 opener against the Dragons.

Having lost their two previous pre-season games to date, Tony McGahan's men are keen to get off the mark and the coach has named a strong side for this clash.

Duncan Williams gets the nod over Peter Stringer and he partners Ian Keatley at half-back. Marcus Horan and Mick O'Driscoll can put their World Cup disappointment behind them, while Billy Holland joins Niall Ronan and Peter O'Mahony in the back-row.

"There's so many positions up for grabs. This weekend is the last opportunity for lads to stake a claim," Holland said. "We need to deliver a much improved performance."
