IT's the sight Leinster fans never wanted to see, but Jonny Sexton has arrived at Racing Metro and donned the club shirt on the first day of his new life.

The Ireland fly-half visited Racing Metro's Centre du Plessis training centre and virtually his every moment was captured on camera as he greeted staff, got fitted up for club gear and got used to his new surrounds.

The former Leinster star got married two weeks ago today, having just arrived back from starting all three Lions Tests in their series win over Australia. But, after a short break, he is back in a rugby shirt, albeit one of a different hue, as he put on the Parisian club's sky blue and white jersey and posed for pictures with a retro rugby ball.

Sexton is reportedly the Top 14's highest earner on €55,000-a-month and got a taste of his new high profile as his photo shoot was captured on video. He uploaded a filmed message to his new fans, saying: "Hi, I'm Jonathan Sexton. Just to say hello to all of the Racing followers on Twitter, see you during the season."

Sexton will be joined later this week by fellow Lions Jamie Roberts and Dan Lydiate and, in total, there will be 14 new faces at the club this season.

The Top 14 campaign kicks off earlier than the Irish season, with Racing beginning their campaign against Brive on August 17.

Sexton will, of course, have one familiar face in Ronan O'Gara, whose conversion from red to blue has already taken place, with a snapshot of the Munster legend in his new kit on the club's website, along with a video of him taking French classes with the other imports who've already arrived.

Meanwhile, Sexton's 20-year-old brother, Jerry, is also heading to France after the second row signed a one-year acadamy contract with Pro D2 side Auch.
