MUNSTER will play Harlequins at 2pm on Sunday April 7 in the quarter-finals of this year’s Heineken Cup.
The province’s fans would have been hoping for a Saturday kick-off for ease of access to the Twickenham Stoop, and perhaps allowing them to watch Leinster play in the Amlin Cup the night before.
But it’s better news for Ulster fans.
Saracens' clash against Ulster has been confirmed by European Rugby Cup for Saturday April 6, with a 6.30pm kick-off, although the venue has yet to be confirmed.
The Aviva Premiership club played their final game at Watford's Vicarage Road last weekend, with their new Allianz Park home in Barnet staging this Sunday's LV= Cup game against Cardiff Blues.
It is thought Saracens are exploring Allianz Park as a possible quarter-final location, although Milton Keynes' Stadium:mk could be another option.
Leicester's will play Toulon in France at 4.30pm on the Sunday, Irish time, with the stadium still to be confirmed for that game.
The all-French quarter-final between Clermont Auvergne and Montpellier, meanwhile, will kick off at 3.40pm, Irish time, at Stade Marcel Michelin on April 6.
