Irish NGO Haven will present former Munster and Ireland fly-half Ronan O'Gara with an award for his outstanding contribution to Irish rugby at its annual Six Nations rugby lunch tomorrow.

Haven founder and chairman Leslie Buckley said: "We are delighted that Ronan has accepted the award. Ronan has achieved so much in his career for Ireland and Munster, and we're looking forward to honouring him for that."

During his illustrious career, O'Gara has captained Munster, Ireland and the British and Irish Lions. He is the all-time highest points scorer for Ireland and the fourth-highest points scorer in the history of rugby union.

Haven is an Irish NGO working solely in Haiti to help build sustainable communities. Since Haven's launch in 2008, the charity has constructed, repaired and upgraded 2,400 homes, facilitated the vocational training of over 66,200 Haitians and provided water and sanitation facilities to over 81,590 people. Its annual Six Nations rugby lunch takes place in the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin.
