Craig Gilroy got two of Ulster's seven tries as Neil Doak's men brushed aside Treviso's feeble challenge at the Kingspan Stadium.

They had their bonus point in their pocket by half-time as tries by Dan Tuohy, Sean Reidy, Paul Marshall and a cracker by Gilroy put them 27-0 ahead.

Further tries followed from locks Peter Browne and Lewis Stevenson, and Gilroy.

Ulster went ahead in the seventh minute when Tuohy crashed over from a ruck. Stuart McCloskey added the extras and soon added a penalty.

Treviso briefly threatened, with Jayden Hayward missing a straightforward penalty, but flanker Reidy got Ulster's second try from a driven lineout.

Treviso then lost prop Rupert Harden and Julian Barbieri to the bin in quick succession, and Ulster ran in try number three with scrum-half Marshall scooting down the blind-side from a scrum.

Gilroy secured the bonus point with a wonderful jinking run from the 10-metre line just before the break.

However, it was 14-man Treviso who were first out of the traps on the resumption, with fly-half John Christie sprinting over, and Hayward converting.

Treviso went on the offensive again, but a Touhy steal at a lineout set his side in motion. Soon after, his second-row partner Browne claimed his first try for Ulster when he crashed over under the posts.

Just past the hour mark, Gilroy nipped in for his second try of the night as he took a great off-load by McCloskey.

With four minutes remaining replacement lock Stevenson scored Ulster's seventh try - his first touchdown after 81 appearances for the province.
