Leinster winger Fergus McFadden could in be line for a spell on the sidelines after he was cited for an alleged stamp on Connacht prop Nathan White.

The Kildare man appeared to make two stamping motions towards the head of White during a ruck during Friday night's game at the RDS.

With Champions Cup and Six Nations games on the horizon, any ban would be a big blow to Joe Schmidt and Leo Cullen.

There was no indication as to when or where the player's hearing, before an independent PRO12 Rugby Disciplinary Committee, would take place.

Law 10.4(b) Stamping or trampling. A player must not stamp or trample on an opponent.
