Tommy rocks Ulster

TOMMY Bowe broke the hearts of the fans who used to adore him as Ulster slumped to a fourth successive Magners League defeat last night.
The former Ravenhill favourite scored a late try as the Ospreys came from 27-25 down to score 13 unanswered points and leave Ulster flattened.
Ospreys would have won the game without Bowe's touchdown, but his seventh try of the season and record 38th in Magners League history, meant there wasn't even the consolation of a bonus point in defeat for Ulster.
Despite being two points to the good and playing the last 13 minutes against just 14 men, Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin still defended his players.
"No-one can fault their effort. They have given everything," he said after the 38-27 loss.
"We're all exceptionally disappointed with the last 20 minutes of the game. In the first half we played some great rugby.
"We took our chances well and put ourselves into a position to win the match, but we just couldn't hold on.
"We thought when they got the carding (Ian Gough was sin-binned in the 67th minute) that we had a real opportunity, but we let it go."
