Richardt Strauss has been handed captain's duties as Leo Cullen prepares his Leinster side for Sunday's Pro12 clash against Benetton Treviso in the Stadio Monigo (Kick Off: 12.30pm (Irish time) – no TV or radio coverage).

With the Irish players in Rome to face Italy in the Six Nations, Cullen has recalled a number of Leinster stars following recent injuries.

Dave Kearney is one notable returnee as he starts his first game since last October when he injured his ankle against Cardiff Blues.

Connacht coach Pat Lam, meanwhile, has named his starting 15 for Connacht's clash away to Cardiff Blues on Sunday.

“While it was good to get the break and a chance to work away on different aspects of our game, we’re all really looking forward to going out and playing this weekend," said Lam.

“Cardiff have always been tough opponents for us, particularly away from home where so many games have gone right down to the wire. We expect a big challenge again on Sunday and we know there is little room for error as we look to improve our overall performance.”
