O'Gara's nag proves bad Munster omen

THOSE looking for portents ahead of last Saturday's seismic Magners League clash between Leinster and Munster at Lansdowne Road could have done worse than throwing a glance at the Gowran Park results from a few hours before kick-off.

It featured a horse called Your Busy, which was running in the 4.10, owned by a certain Mr R O'Gara with Ruby Walsh on board. And, just as Munster performed well later that evening before coming up just short, so too did Your Busy in the Beginners' Chase over two miles and one furlong, before finishing a narrow second to .. .......Darceys Dancer. Spooky.


"It starts with an 'f' and ends with ... "

-- Munster coach Tony McGahan recalls the first word that passed his lips when he saw their Heineken Cup draw.
