Lam braced for 'enormous test'

Pat Lam reckons an "enormous challenge" awaits Connacht this evening (7.35) against Glasgow Warriors but his side will be full of confidence after starting their campaign with a win last weekend.
Defending champions Glasgow, who had been on a 20-game unbeaten run - were stunned at home to the Scarlets and will be looking to immediately bounce back at Scotstoun.
"We understand the enormity of the challenge we have before us against a well-coached Glasgow side stacked full of quality players," Lam warned.
"We have yet to win at Scotstoun and we're playing the defending champions who will be fired up after last week's defeat.
"But our focus for the growth of our young squad is to compete and perform in challenges like this."
Lam has made just one change for the trip to Scotland.
John Cooney starts at scrum-half, with Ireland star Kieran Marmion, who suffered a minor hip injury in training, dropping to the bench.
Out-half Jack Carty will be eager to build on last week's performance in which he kicked 14 points.
Kiwi flanker Nepia Fox-Matamua made a promising start to his Connacht career with a try on his debut against the Dragons, while captain John Muldoon will start his 250th game for the Westerners.
Glasgow coach Gregor Townsend knows the threat the visitors will pose.
"Connacht are a very good side who have a strong set-piece," he said.
"Our two opening fixtures were always going to be tough and we know we'll have to perform very well to win."
